I get a xrhr3ap error when I want to print after upgrading to El Capitan

I started getting this error for my Xerox WorkCentre 3045B after I upgraded to El Capitan today. I can't print anything. The following are the problem details:

Hey yusufcom,

If I understand correctly, since upgrading to OS X El Capitan you're seeing an error message when you attempt to print. If you haven't already, take a look at the article below and try the general printer troubleshooting tips that it provides.

Get help resolving printer issues on your Mac - Apple Support

If you have some other printing issue

These steps may resolve printing issues that have no other clear cause:

Open the Printers & Scanners pane of System Preferences, then select your printer and click the minus sign (-) to remove the printer from the list.

Follow the steps in the previous section to add your printer.

If the issue persists, reset the printing system, then follow the steps in the previous section once more.

If the issue remains unresolved, take these final steps to move aside any currently installed printer drivers:
Reset the printing system again.
Rename the folder at /Library/Printers:
From the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder. Then type
/Library
and click Go.
Click once on the Printer folder to select it, then press Return to begin renaming the folder. Type
Printers-old
, then press Return to save the new name.
Follow the steps in the previous section once more.

Same story here with Xerox 3010. It happens on both MacBook Pro and Mac Pro after upgrade to El Capitan

Hello! Just found the solution on Xerox support forums. Actually this solution works for any other brand, the only step to change is for the actual driver file:

Shut off Mac
Hold down <Command> + <R> + <Power button>
Select Utilities > Terminal
In terminal type csrutil disable; reboot
Install the required Xerox driver from the 10.10
The above will say it will reboot, but it won't, so reboot when completed
When back up, install the printer per preferred method
Shut off Mac
Hold down <Command> + <R> + <Power button>
Select Utilities > Terminal
In terminal type csrutil enable; reboot

That is indeed helpful. But when I did it, I was able to print only single copies no matter how many copies I wanted to print. Anyway, I chose to downgrade to Mavericks after all, because of the low performance and everything. All is fine now and I'm happier with Mavericks 🙂
