Q: Apache service_proxy_error.log growing fast on El Capitan

Hi web service users,

I jumped fearlessly and upgraded my server to El Capitan (while still having a backup plan).

The installation deleted my web server logs, which I then retrieved from backup.

I noticed a new log file among the usual access_log and error_log - the service_proxy_error.log .

It was growing fast, and did not look like complaining real errors. Every hit on my server should not generate a handful of log lines.

Where did that come from?

After poking around, I found that the LogLevel setting for the apache proxy service had been set to debug and I flipped it to warn instead.

I found the LogLevel setting in the beginning of:

/Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/Library/Server/Web/Config/Proxy/apa che_serviceproxy.conf

Am I the only one feeling the need to change this setting?

Kind regards,

Henrik Dalgaard
