iPhone 5s not connecting to iTunes after updating to iOS 9.0.2.

Ever since updating to iOS 9 Software and the latest iTunes, my iPhone won't show up in iTunes. My PC (loaded with Windows 10) does pick it up, even importing pictures and videos but nothing happens in iTunes. It doesn't open by default and when I open it manually, there's still no sign of my phone. I've tried a variety of things to try to resolve this issue but so far no such luck.


I've tried:

1) Restarting the PC and the iPhone

2) Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPhone

3) Different USB ports

4) Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes

5) Installing the iOS 9.0.2. update

6) Repairing software on the PC

7) Checking for device driver updates on the PC itself

and I think that's about it.


Please, I urgently need help with this. I'm getting my new iPhone tomorrow and then this one will be sold. I need to make back-ups so I can do the hand-over. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
