iOS9 - Camera Connection Kit no longer compatible?

With iOS9 the Camera Connection Kit is no longer compatible. Is there any plan to make it compatible again with upcoming updates?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 9.0.2

Similar problem with my Lightning SD Camera Card reader and my iPad 4 running iOS 9.0.2. I insert the card reader into the iPad but it says No Photos to Import. I performed a Restart/Reboot but the problem remains...

try to format the SD card in the camera. i did. and then it worked again.

Did not think of that. I'll try it as soon as I make sure I have all the latest photos off of the card and on my wife's computer. Thanks for the suggestion.
