Is clean my mac 3 legitimate

Definitely does NOT help the computer operate better. Is there a reason you were considering such a useless product?

All such "cleaning" products are designed for one and only one purpose: to separate you from your money. They accomplish that very effectively.

Avoid anything even remotely resembling that description.

I have known and dealt with stedman1 long enough to call him a total gentleman. His remarks were directed at the software (CleanMyMac3) and certainly not at you. Sometimes we simply read the wrong things into what is written or the writing is not as clear as perhaps it should be.
