Podcasts advance, but car display doesn't advance on screen

I'm not sure what happened with the new Podcast app, but now when I listen in my car the podcasts play, but the screen no longer shows the podcasts advancing to the next one that plays. Something buggy that Apple either left out or isn't syncing with my car. Anyone else seeing this?
