Q: Virus on Iphone 5, please help!!!

So I was using Safari and a message popped up which didn't really seem like an ad, it seemed more serious cause it said that my Iphone was infected with a virus and that could threaten all of my personal data and that I needed to call Apple (there was also a number) immediately. Do I need to do something, do I have a virus or is it just a false pop up from a site?

This is a scam, and it is important that you do not call the number. See this article: A Browser Pop-up has Taken Over Safari.
