I have updated my phone to a 6s and want to give my iphone 5s to my son.
When I am trying to resore my iphone 5s it won't let me turn off find my iphone. It requests my apple password but when I input this the screen just shakes and the password is not accepted.
I did have to change my password when updating to my iphone 6s but I know I am using the correct password as I can sign into my account without a problem.
Help!!

Exactly the same issue here - have upgraded to 6S & want to pass 5c to my daughter but can't delete my contents & settings on my old phone as password is shaking & not accepted - yet it works on my new phone!
I managed to turn it off 🙂
I connected to the home broadband and it let me turn it off....hope this helps.

I think it wants your passcode not your password
The one you use whencyou turn iPhone on .

You should always turn off the Find My iPhone and passcode features before resetting the old device and restoring to the new device.
