Mar 17, 2016 11:39 PM in response to Nodilisby aytekdorken,Hi All,
Every weekend I am having 2 live gigs and I am having the issue each time.
NI clearly responded me that the issue is happening from Mac OS audiocore driver and not NI.
How can we make apple solve this issue?
Do you think that submitting a ticket can solve? I don't think so.
Why Apple is not hearing us? Shall we put this on to change.org ? (many companies fixed issues with this way in the past)

Mar 17, 2016 11:58 PM in response to aytekdorkenby uncle_tim,Possible you could get the latest Beta version? I am not sure what it takes, may be worth it in your case. For me I just a use a PC for Music at the moment.

Mar 18, 2016 12:09 AM in response to uncle_timby aytekdorken,Coincidently last couple of weeks, I switched to Beta versions with NI Supprt Team's suggestions.
They told that with Beta's they see the issue is resolved.
So they asked me to switch and I took the risk and switched to beta3, then beta4, then beta5 and now beta6 and had a chance to live test all of them each week.
But nope, not solved it So don't install beta for now...
Once I thought that it solved, on a Friday night gig nothing happened but on Saturday night, it happened again.

Mar 18, 2016 10:21 AM in response to Nodilisby aytekdorken,Today beta7 is released. Now installing with a huge risk beta7 and going to live gig in 4 hours.
Wish me luck but I have no faith in this update as well. In the release notes there is no mention about audio issue improvement.

Mar 20, 2016 12:20 AM in response to aytekdorkenby rokko102,At this point I don't there will be a solution for USB Audio in OS X.
After several releases Apple continues to ignore the problem. 10.11.4 is about to be released and most problems are still there in the last beta.
This a shame and for me at least it renders OS X almost useless. I can't work under an OS that drops or distorts audio randomly.
What a disappointment Apple ... Can't you hire a team to resolve these problems ? It was't there in Yosemite... I can't be so hard to fix!!!!!

Mar 20, 2016 2:42 PM in response to Nodilisby jayh82,Last night after 4 hours of playing a gig with NI Traktor Scratch Pro 2 and a NI Traktor Kontrol S8 cames the first distorted audio drop out!
Shame to Apple. I bought a MacBook for 2000€ with a OS X system full of audio problems!

Mar 21, 2016 11:53 PM in response to rennsportby aytekdorken,Thanks but I don't think that it addresses the issues that we are having. We don't have disconnection problem but sound distortion.
I will install tonight and test it. -
Mar 21, 2016 11:56 PM in response to aytekdorkenby rennsport,Oh well the person who started this thread was having the disconnect issue and so was I (I haven't tested it yet with my DAC though)

Mar 22, 2016 1:24 AM in response to Nodilisby William Kucharski,I will say that 10.11.4 has solved the issue of occasional bursts of static I had been getting through my AudioQuest Dragonfly USB DAC when playing music via iTunes.

Mar 22, 2016 2:34 AM in response to William Kucharskiby aytekdorken,Hi William, do you imply that your issue is fised with the latest 10.11.4 final version or it was already fixed in the 10.11.4 beta versions already?
