You should receive an automatic email notification from Apple that your Apple ID has been changed. Check your junk mail older just in case.
Because I changed from ATT Yahoo my email would not work saying my password was wrong. I now have a gmail account and changed everything but my apple id defaults to the old one and I cannot even retrieve my email on the laptop. I am in a real dilemma.
