Error in dictionary post iOS 9 update

HI guys

i have been experience some inconvenience with the dictionary facility of iOS post my upgrade from iOS 8.4.1 to 9.02 yesterday.

Tthe definition won't show up once the define option in iBooks is selected, after the word is double tapped. Occurrs in Safari and other supportings as well. Instead of giving the definition of the word chosen, a blank pop up appears. In case we opt to hit the manage option and select a dictionary, the dictionar that were previously downloaded before the upgrade is not available. Please advice.
