Undo Format/Everything Gone

I have a big problem. The other day i was in a hurry and unpluged my ipod from computer without safely removing it and it also fell.

Everything was pretty much fine but 2-3 songs were cut after a minute. Then today, i plugged it in to change that songs and it freeze the pc and said format, and i did. After that all of my music, playlists and everything was gone. Gone. I am not ashamed to admit I cryed a little. Is there a way to bring it all back? Please help me. Now when i plug it in it asks for a format again and nothing shows on itunes. What should i do. 😢😢😢😢
