Why can't I seem to check (enable) the Share Menu option for Facebook/Flickr Internet Accounts on OSX El Capitan?

Why can't I seem to check (enable) share menu option for Facebook/Flickr Internet Accounts on the System Preferences? I was able to enable my Twitter accounts share menu option though. I want to know how I can fix this. This is a neat feature to have which lets you post to social media without having to open a web browser. Would anyone please care to help me or give me suggestions? I am using El Capitan on a Macbook Pro 13 inch Late 2011. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi smaskay. I was experiencing same problem here. Here what I found:

If Share options or Markup is missing after upgrading to OS X Yosemite or El Capitan - Apple Support

It did work for me. Hope it can help you.

I followed the instructions (opening terminal, running the command), and it still didn't work. Any other ideas from the community?

Hi Bekerm5.

After run the command, go to System Preferences>Internet Account>Facebook (Twitter, Flickr...) and see if the option SHARE MENU is available to check.

Ricardo,

It is an option for twitter (I see nothing for mail), but when I click it the check mark never appears.

I am having the same problem suddenly. I ran the referenced terminal command with no change. In System Preference->Internet Accounts there are Twitter accounts that are enabled and there is a check box for "Share Menu." However, that box will not activate. Please help.
