FCP 7 and Studio in El Capitan

I have FCP Studio (FCP 7, LiveType, etc..) and FCP X. Does it work on El Capitan? I want to upgrade but need to know if these will work.

Thanks,

Here's how to upgrade your OS is a "relatively" painless way.

1. Get a copy of Carbon Copy Cloner or use Time Machine to make a duplicate of your System Drive.

2. Disconnect the clone drive from the system

3. Upgrade the OS.

4. Try to run your apps.

5. If they work, great!

6. If they don't work, copy your clone back over your system drive and continue on with your current OS.
