So far I like the update & everything is running smoothly. However there seems to be a glitch with the Timecode bar.
it even some up on my Mac Book Air too.
its a red line. it will not go away.
Also the text is not lined up with the numbers.

I'm seeing this as well.
All options in Preferences have some type of glitch and misaligned text.
Seems to be an El Capitan thing??

I have this to, for some it just cosmetic. This is widespread, time for new update of FCPX or El Caitan
I Don't have the streak. Some have it in white, some in red, probably either dependent on position on the screen or the graphics card. Didnt even notice the misalignment, the lettering so dark. Hardly a major bug. Way more important bugs to deal with In FCP not related to the OS.
There are a few bugs in FCPX 10.2.2 right now with OS X 10.11.0. This particular bug is covered at FCP.co on their front news page. I have a list of third parties who are compatible.
Yet one more with thw time code bug. Running on a MBP which I use as a "test" machine. Anoying but thats's all. Will wait for bug fix before updating main machines
AS far as I've tested there is nothing wrong at all with the timecode in the dashboard. It's really only a cosmetic problem, which, though it should be fixed, really isn't a reason not to move forward if you want to. Aside from third party problems, the most severe problem that's been reported I've seen is the instability with stabilization. 😉

I agree it is only cosmetic, and yes it's no real problem. I do need to check out third party plug ins as well so will wait a few days until the test machine shows this is the only problem. That's my normal procedure anyway. Make sure the main machines are OK especially as at the moment I have two current projects on with the usual ridiculous time frames 🙂
I'm having the same problem here, when using the optical flow and image stabilizer my FCX to crash, this does not happen with Yosemite, tried everything but to no avail, hopefully soon come a version to fix these problems.
If anyone has any tips, please share.
