After upgrading to El Capitan the share sheet in Safari no longer includes the possibility of sending the page via email. Email is not listed either in the Extension section of System Preferences. However, in the folder /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ShareKit.framework/Versions/A/PlugIns/ there are two identical Mail items, none of which can be deleted.
I have already tried what is suggested at If sharing options and Markup are missing after you install OS X Yosemite - Apple Support, but with no results.
