Hello everybody.
Fcpx 10.2.2 keeps crashing after installing OS X El Capitan 10.11 last night. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Does anyone else have this same problem? I wonder if Apple is aware fo this and if we can expect an OS X update to solve this bug.

No. 99% of the times it crashes when trying to stabilize the clip
I'm not getting that specific crash, but I'd not doubt it. There are a few bugs that cropped up with this first OS X 10.11 public release. I get a crash here and there. We'll have to wait for either OS X 10.11.1 or FCPX 10.2.3 to be released.
Are you switching into another application while analysis is running?
I see your point. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but the crash happens in both cases. With Yosemite, it didn't happen, no matter if I was switching into another application or not. Thanks

Can't get it to crash during analysis if I leave the application alone, only when I'm active on the computer. I can reproduce it in Yosemite in some instances though it might be happening more regularly and quicker in 10.11.
I'm having the same problem here, when using the optical flow and image stabilizer my FCX to crash, this does not happen with Yosemite, tried everything but to no avail, hopefully soon come a version to fix these problems.
If anyone has any tips, please share.
Mine crashes as soon as I run FCP. I have reinstalled, ,removed a potential third party add in.
The odd thing is that when I log is as another user, FCP runs fine.
I've deleted / removed any projects I was working on.
Very frustrating.

Check AUTools? It's most clearly some other software on your system, either third party FCP software, or other software perhaps that alters system behavior.
Trying to ID what has gotten messed up in a user account can be tedious. If the AU suggestion doesn't fix things, you might try the method describedhereto rebuild a corrupted user directory (read through the entire thread).
Or you could continue to run Final Cut from the new user. If you use Fast User Switching, it's not that much additional trouble.
Or you could do a clean install of the OS.

THe thread points to all kinds of absurd OS weaknesses and failures that Apple should be carefully and deliberately fixing yesterday. The implied link between an unstable user account, which is weirdly fragile, and the most basic functions of FCPX is inexcusable.
At our shop, we'll be waiting for updates and fixes to El Cap and the new rev of FCPX before making any changes to our editiing systems.
