BlueTooth Keyboard Issues
Has anybody come up with a script yet to fix the keyboard random disconnection problem?
iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11), annoying keystroke buffering too

What random disconnect problem?
If that is happening, reset the PRAM. If that does not help, the KB is failing.

I've tried resetting the PRAM before, which seemed to solve things, but it began happening again. This time I plugged the power lead for a few seconds, held in the power button and put the lead back in. I rebooted and reset PRAM again, and all is looking good. Cheers.
Same problem here, since upgrading to El Capitan - it is not a keyboard hardware or battery issue. On waking from sleep, the keyboard does not respond other than streaming a string of characters once a key is pressed. Bluetooth trackpad and mouse are fine.
Once the keyboard is powered down and back up, it is working fine until the Mac is put back to sleep.
iMac 5K, OSX El Capitan
Remove battery cap on keyboard or trackpad, place a small piece of folded tin foil between the batteries and the cap, replace cap. problem solved..
