Can't log in to iMessage on El Capitan

I installed El Capitan yesterday and I can't log in to iMessage. I get the iMessage sign in box but when I enter my Apple ID and Password and hit Sign in, nothing happens. Also, every time I start up, I get a screen telling me that my iCloud password needs to be updated.

How do I get iMessage to work? and How do I make the iCloud password verification box appear every single time I log in? Any suggestions?

My login issue started after fully setup and functioning, and with no recent software additions, or updates. Literally, no changes. Even with the PRAM/NVRAM reset, and booting it safe mode, it won't connect on my ElCap MBPro, while I can connect from other devices, and can otherwise log in just fine to iCloud (web, SysPrefs). It's strictly Messages and FaceTime, that are suddenly unable to authenticate. Strangely, it knows when I've purposely entered the wrong info, but the right info, just can't complete the login.
