Safari substitutes fi and fl with strange characters after upgrade to OSX 10.11

Hello,

since upgrading OSX to 10.11, Safari substitutes "fi" and "fl" with strange characters at least on websites like Facebook and Wikipedia.

I tried to change the encoding of the page and the default one, to no avail.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot
