App store keeps asking for password after upgrading to iOS 9.0.2

After I upgraded my iPhone 5 from 8.3 to 9.0.2 the app store keeps asking for my password when installing app updates, even though I have the settings set to

- Require password after 15 minutes

- Require password for free apss: No

Actions taken:

Logging out of app store, force restart, log in again, redo the settings to after 15 min and require = no.

Result:

I still need to provide a password for installing updates of apps.

Does anyone encounter a similar issue?

I am also running into this on my iPhone 5 and have been seeing it since the 9.0 release. My iPad 2 running the public beta hasn't seen it before or after the official release.

Hi

Go to settings - itunes main page Apple ID

Sign out then Sign back in .

Already tried that :-)

I did find a workaround for updating the apps however, without having to type my password (when updating specific apps individually): set auto update to on.

What work around did you use? Having the same problem. It is very frustrating to have to put in the password multiple times.
