duplicate repeating signature / ios 9

I am experiencing this same issue and cannot find any solutions online. Like you, I am making the assumption that it is the new iOS upgrade. I will report the bug as well and hope this thread convinces others to do the same.

I had the same issue here after a clean install of iOS 9.1. Changing my "from" address added my email signature twice!

I've resolved it by taking the following steps (not sure which ones did the trick):

1. Completely delete all email signatures in Settings.app (I used "select all" and backspace).

2. Force quit Settings.app AND Mail.app (double tap home button, flick up).

3. Power off and power on iPad (I actually did this before step 2).

4. Reconfigure signature/s.

Hope that works for you too.

I find it hard to believe, but this does work. It is an odd "fix," but yes, it fixes a very ugly issue. Thank you!

I've done this several times now and I'm still getting this issue.

I've tried the steps in different orders and nothing.

Frustrating.

I'm having the same problem. Just noticed it today. Only happens on replies and forwards. Followed all instructions here and nothing has helped.

I FOUND A FIX!

This was only happening to me when I forwarded or replied in email.

Go into Settings, Increase Quote Level - Turn OFF.

This has fixed the issue for me.

This fix worked for me, even though I am using iOS 10.2.1

I know this is a community for Apple users but surely someone from Apple should be plugged in here!

Keep it stupid simple. Brilliant. The above worked for me perfectly. I had 6 signatures, all HTML formatted and it was a bloody nightmare.

Delete, quit, paste back, done.
