Has anyone managed to get a ZTE MF823 4g modem working with OSX 10.11?

My ZTE modem was working fine under OSX 10.10, but the installer now states "The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install".

I know it's early days for El Capitan, but the GM has been out long enough for hardware manufacturers to develop drivers for this kit...?

Anyone have a link to updated drivers or a workaround to get this modem working again?

Hello,

I've seen SJRNET had a solution for this, but I'm replying as it seems not to be working in my case.

In OSX 10.7 the dongle appears as Ethernet Adaptor (en4) but on 10.11 that doesn't pop-up in the network preferences; so I don't know how to use that turn around.

Has anyone had the same experience?
