Since updating to El Capitan, my MacBook Air (mid 2013) has become very hot near the charger. I can also hear the fan running. It's quite noticeable. Does anyone know what I can do?

I'm afraid I don't have a solution, but I'm experiencing the exact same issue. Anyone else?
The first few minutes under El Capitan may involve some especially strenuous activities, such as Spotlight re-indexing, and/or creating and performing a full Time Machine backup.
