My Products have my iPhone 5, Apple TV, ipad (3rd gen…), iTunes and Sony VAIO are all listed. However there is no Edit option for the iPad 3. All the rest have Set as default, Edit and Delete!
When I want to update the iPad's iOS version I have to delete it and add it again.
I've seen this problem as well. Try setting one of your other products as the default. That might allow editing the iPad 3.

What you want to do is isolate to see if it is something about your device/browser OR your Apple ID account for ASC.

i updated the OS version by deleting, then adding the iPad 3rd Gen from the list of Products Registered. This resulted in "iPad (3rd generation)" to be added and no edit option available
As a test I deleted it and added from the all products list. This worked, having the edit option.

If you are saying that jumping through the hoops created a situation where you can no longer recreate the problem, I guess we call it is "Solved" and say to ourselves "go figger..."
I was unable to find out how you did your iPad 3rd Gen ActionFlow though - no GENS in the menu

The problem was: No edit option with my iPad 3rd Gen Product. When I wanted to update OS Vn I deleted it, then added it from My registered products list where I could include the OS in the creation process
instead of adding it as a new product from My Products List I added an iPad tfrom the All Products list and added the 3 Gen… info in the Other Details Box
So there seemed to have been a problem with the "iPad (3rd gen) WIFi + Cellular" text that I created when I first got the iPad
Now all is ok

Are we on the same "Page" as it were? Two places you can "Add Products" (that I know of) are:
I had been assuming #1... TRUE? If so, the ASC JiveWare has undergone several 'upgrades' in the past couple of years - it has many 'glitches' that are yet unexplained much less fixed.
Like I said, if you have solved by deleting and adding it again a new one - we seem to be done.
Again, "go figger"
