Why does my bus list display 64 when i only have 32 in my environment

Did you select the 64 bus option in your audio preferences after you created your autoload?

I'm guessing this is the reason you have 64 buses available (because you selected 64 buses in your audio preferences) while you only have 32 in your environment. 🙂

Because "Busses" are not the same thing as "Buss Objects".

Enabling 64 busses in the audio prefs gives you 64 potential pathways to route audio (busses).

Adding Buss Objects in the environment vies you ways to tap into those busses and route the audio elsewhere, add plugins, and so on.

So you could have 64 busses active, with only 3 buss objects in the environment. Or conversely, if you created 64 buss objects and then unticked the "64 busses" option, 32 of those buss objects would be routed to inactive busses, and so wouldn't do anything.

So in short: Buss != Buss Object

When i select a bus send on a channel there is a list of 64
busses and the first 32 are only enabled.

There has been a thread about this a few months ago.

You have enabled the 64-busses option at some point, hence the bus list has geon from 32 to 64 items. Then you turned it off again, so only 32-busses are available.

However, Logic doesn't shrink the flip menu back to 32 entries, so you still see 64-entries, but only the first 32 are enabled, and the remaining 32 inactive ones are greyed out and disabled.
