Contacts / Groups not allowing "unchecking" of Contact types

When I go into "Contacts" and choose "Groups", then try to uncheck a group (i.e. everything but "contacts" under Exchange), it will not save my changes. If I close the contacts app and reopen it, all other contact groups are checked again. This appears to have started with the iOS 9.0 update and is still present in iOS 9.0.2.

Is anyone else having this issue or aware of a fix.
