deep color

I try to generate a video from a concrete images but I always get very bad deep color if I compare it with the original pictures. I have tried many different configurations with the codecs but nothing works. The only codec which improves a little the result is ProRes XQ 4444 but even there I see the result is not totally good. I want to get the right deep color with H.264 but I dont get it. Has Anyone had this problem before? Any suggestion?

Compressor, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Compressor 4.2.1

The options of this website do not let me upload the pictures because they are bigger than 2MB and with small size the problem cannot be seen adequately.

I don’t know if H.264 let it, but the problem is the deep color value. I miss a feature where I can choose the deep color value in Compressor. The only option as I told is ProRes XQ 4444 but YouTube don’t let you upload a video with that codec. Do you know whether detail level is related with deep color? I do a test but I didn't see any difference solving the problem with deep color. I am thinking suggest to Apple about an option where one can control explicitly deep color. It is full of options and I miss one for deep color.

If your source material is high quality enough to benefit from more precise grading, I suggest you check out Davinci Resolve and/or Color Finale.

And of course, provide your suggestions via Compressor Feedback.

edit: BTW, initially I thought you were talking about color saturation and now I realize you meant color depth.

it was my mistake, yes, I was meaning color depth.

I sent this through Feedback https://www.apple.com/feedback/compressor.html

I miss an option to know and give manually a value for color depth for H.264 and the rest of codecs. Actually for some images the default color depth value is not enough to get the right result. This is really a pity. I think in a program as compressor such highly specialised an option for color depth is requered. Thanks.
