Oct 2, 2015 3:30 PM in response to NYapplesby NYapples,Okay, I do NOT understand! Even though it kept giving me that error as I repeatedly tried dragging it over to the ipod, I eventually saw across the top bar "updating ipod" blah, blah, blah "[movie name]" or something like that and it DID copy the movie over. I still need to understand what is going on and how this is supposed to work. In spite of the SD error, did it automatically sync to my ipod after it finished downloading even though I have it set to "manually manage videos"?
Another somewhat related question: When you drag a movie that was downloaded as HD and is, for example, 2.68 GB, how is it that it shows up on the ipod as 1.19 GB? I'm not complaining as I wanted to have the smallest file size version of the movies as possible copied over in order to allow for as many movies as possible to be loaded. I just don't understand why the discrepancy in file size of movie downloaded into iTunes versus file size of movie synced to my iPod nano.
