hang update Watch os 2

I bought an OS Watch today. Initialization was successful under OS Watch 1.something.

I then started un update process to OS Watch 2 through my 5c iPhone running IOS 9.0.2.

Everything appeared to run OK until the watch got freezed showing a static "359°" crown.

I was unable to restart the watch through the supposed to be right process : pressing the 2 buttons for about 10 seconds.

The watch now shows a red "!" and a red circle and ask to consult apple.com/help/watch which is no use.

Does anyone know how to get out of this unfriendly situation ?

Hi

Unfortunately, you will need to contact Apple Support with a view to having your watch repaired / replaced under warranty:

For future reference, operating system installations should never be interrupted by trying to restart the watch.

As the instructions specifically advise: "Don't restart your Apple Watch during the update, which might take some time."
