Oct 2, 2015 3:56 PM in response to Ivozzzby Loner T,W10 with just the ISO can be used for an in-place upgrade. You will need to use a USB Installer to install W10.

El Capitan has BC Assistant 6.0.
If you have Yosemite and ELC, both, verify that you are using the correct OS X version.

Oct 2, 2015 4:02 PM in response to Loner Tby Ivozzz,Ok I think I understand. I had wiped my previous bootcamp partition and was attempting to install windows 10 fresh through elc. So the ISO install is ONLY for an upgrade on top of a windows partition.
This however contradicts what this article states, which is that windows 10 can be installed and a windows partition created only using an ISO and nothing else within bootcamp. What gives?
