Errors when accessing System Preferences

Upgraded to El Capitan, initial Apps that load at startup seem slow. Once everything up I try to access the system preferences some preference panes won't open, I receive an error message, I try multiple time, then after several minutes I try again an it opens. Seems sporadic as to which one's won't open.

Hey Mark,

So after the El Capitan upgrade your login items seem slow and some panes of the System Preferences may or may not open.

Not sure if you have tried Safe Boot or tested under a different user, but those are good ways to isolate the issue.

Starting at "If the issue occurs in various applications, or in Mac OS X". Note the first Tip doesn't seem to apply here.

Best regards
