After upgrading to El Capitan, all my sent emails from POP accounts are missing, anyone know how I can retrieve them ?

After upgrading to El Capitan, all my sent emails from POP accounts are missing, my sent mail from IMAP mail accounts are there !!, anyone know how I can retrieve them ?, appreciate any help. Thanks.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Click on each account with missing messages and then select Rebuild from the bottom of the Mailbox menus. Do this one-mailbox-at-a-time.

That ought to do the trick.
