Q: Dual Monitor - Netflix Fullscreen?

In El Capitan, they made the change so that each monitor has its own desktop space.

This is of course great for the times you want a fullscreen program running on one monitor, but still want to be able to use the other. In Yosemite, if you put Safari into fullscreen mode, it would black out the second monitor.

This sucked unless you were wanting to watch Netflix. It allowed you to black out the second monitor so that wallpaper of Brad Pitt in a speedo didn't light up your room and distract you. I can no longer do that with El Capitan.

I realize I can uncheck the setting that each monitor has a separate space, but it requires me to set that, log out, log back in. Then set it back after the movie. This is a pain in the buns.

Can anyone give me a solution for blacking out the second monitor while Netflix is in fullscreen mode?

Thanks,
