Q: No Bluetooth connect : MacBook Pro to BOSE SoundLink via Bluetooth after El Capitan update

Hi!

after the upgrade to Yosemite and then El Capitan on my MacBook Pro (15 inch late 2011) I discovered that the Bluetooth settings has change.

I am no longer able to connect to my Bose SoundLink Mobile speaker II. Before I could simply activate bluetooth on my MacBook Pro, turn on the Bose speaker and then select the Bose device in the Bluetooth menu and it got connected.

Now I do not even find that option at all.

How do I get all this back?

I do not want to go back to cables to get audio to my speaker.

Thankful for support!

I now have the same issue after upgrading to El Capitan.  I cannot get my Bose Soundlink II Mini to pair anymore.

Found the solution!  Head on over to updates.Bose.com/SoundLinkmin and install the latest firmware update Version 1.1.4.3558.  Once I did that the device paired properly.  If you need to clear all your paired devices on the SoundLink Mini II, simply hold down the Bluetooth button for around 10 seconds until it tells you that all devices are cleared.
