iphoto 7 not supportted by new iOS

Hi

I have my Mac for 7 years working on an old OS with iPhoto 7. because he did not support the new itunes and my iphone 6, i upgraded the OS to El Capital 10.11.

Everything upgraded nicely and the Mac works like a charm except from Photo who cannot use teh iphoto library. I have 10 years of photos stored in there from wedding to birth of my 2 boys and their last 4/7 years! And i cannot access any of them. I tried iphoto upgrader but it does not seem to work.

I am desperate!!!
