Mar 21, 2016 3:31 AM in response to soulartistby aero1247e,The latest update for Microsoft Office 2016 seems to have fixed the problem for Outlook. At least for now after I have installed the update yesterday and have closed an reopened the window for at least 50 times. Let's see if it stays that way. What is your experience?

All apps updated to 15.20 yesterday apart from Outlook which is still on 15.19.1 ?

Mar 21, 2016 5:20 AM in response to aero1247eby corvairkid,I am using Outlook for Mac 2011.
A Microsoft update became available a few days ago (14.6.2) and after updating both of my computers, the window size problem for Outlook still exists.
The size problem for Calendar also still exists.
So, for Outlook, I will continue to minimize instead of closing the window, and for Calendar I will continue to keep the Calendars side bar closed.
Those two work-arounds solve the problem until a fix is made.
But, I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Mar 21, 2016 11:00 AM in response to aero1247eby tmoore5656,Still the same problem. So back to minimizing for me!
I'm hoping 10.11.4 may resolve this as it is system wide rather than just an Outlook issue. Saying that, why are other programs unaffected (safari/firefox etc)?!

Mar 21, 2016 1:37 PM in response to tmoore5656by soulartist,Same issue here, and the reading pane also disappears.

Mar 21, 2016 11:06 PM in response to soulartistby aero1247e,Sorry to hear that. But since the latest Office Update the issue is resolved for me. Also after installing 10.11.4 yesterday night all is good. SO FAR, so good. We shall see.

Mar 22, 2016 4:33 AM in response to aero1247eby FUZZY DUNL0P,Still not fixed in 10.11.4 and Adobe CC software like Photoshop and Illustrator. Open and save dialogue windows keep resetting to tiny size. What a shame …

Mar 22, 2016 5:12 AM in response to FUZZY DUNL0Pby corvairkid,Just updated to OS X 10.11.4.
Outlook for Mac 2011 ver. 14.6.2 window size problem still not fixed here either.
However, the Calendar issue may be OK. I have been leaving the Calendar List Sidebar open and the size problem appears to have been fixed. Will give it some more time.

Mar 22, 2016 10:15 AM in response to FUZZY DUNL0Pby corvairkid,Well, I'm wrong again!
The Calendar problem persists!!
Back to hiding the Calendar List Sidebar.

Apr 14, 2016 10:56 AM in response to corvairkidby watsonfromarlington,I see the same problem, and yes, hiding the list seems to fix it. Very quirky. I need that list showing so now it is the lesser of two evils to either resize every time or show/hide sidebar.
