Anomaly after installing El Capitan

FCP X seems to be operating normally after updating from Yosemite to El Capitan, but in the time window in the center of the display, there are a couple of odd things happening:

1. There is a horizontal line across the middle

2. The labels for hour, minute, seconds, etc. are skewed from where they should be

Any advice would be appreciated!
