Download was corrupt for El Capitan

I downloaded El Capitan and it said the file was corrupt. I found the download and removed it, at least as far as I can tell. Now I want to redownload but it is grey out and says downloaded in the App Store. How can I get a new download?

Hi robsnotes4u,

I see that you are trying to install El Capitan but may have a corrupted download. I would suggest that you start by making sure the installer package is deleted, then going to your past purchases in the Mac App Store and redownloading the El Capitan installer:
