artists not showing

artists not showing

on my ipod when i go through the artists search some artists dont show up, even though the music is on there. The only way I can see these artists is through the album search. On both itunes and the ipod the artists in correct just doesn't show up under the artists search ???

nevermind, the compliation box was checked on certain songs thus they dont show up under artists. problem solved!

Ok, the very same thing happens with my iPod nano. However, if you uncheck the Compilation box in iTunes, you will then have as many artworks as songs of such CD. This doesn't look quite good with the new Coverflow feature. So, then it might fix the Artists not appearing in the iPod, but it will mess up with your iTunes visual appearance.
