Upgrading then Ram?
I have a 2006 iMac with 1 gigabyte of ram and was considering upgrading it to 16gb but I was wondering if it would be a sisnificant upgrade since its so old. I would love some help 😁

If you can, Do! 🙂
But 8GB should suffice.
The RAM limit for a 2006 iMac is 2GB or 4GB depending on what model it is.

An Early 2006 Core Duo only supports 2GB of RAM.
A Late 2006 Core 2 Duo can take 4GB, but will only use 3GB of the 4GB.
