Anyone here generating Aperture slideshows for YouTube?

27" iMac, OSX Yosemite, version 10.10.5. Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core 17. Memory 8GB. 2 Glyph 6 TB Studio external drives. Aperture 3.6 software. Camera Canon 5D MK II

I want to produce high quality slideshows that can be used on YouTube and Facebook to promote a friends band. I have high res photos and turn them into a slideshow with Aperture using various options but have been very disappointed with the results. A quicktime movie gives the bests results with the images at 1920 x 1080 being exported for HD1080p and these look great on the home screen but when I send this to Facebook it is seriously downgraded in image quality.

The same slideshow exported as an mpeg m4v is pretty bad. I have the bands music as the soundtrack and that works beautifully but I am only interested in producing high quality YouTube videos.

Any suggestions that would help me produce the results I am looking for. I'm a photographer, I'm not a video guy and any advice would be useful. Thanks in advance!

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
