can't upgrade to capitain

Hello Experts

I am trying to upgrade my Mac Mini to El Capitain. The download was ok, but when I click update a message (in portuguese) appears to me that in a free english translations would be

"Thease apps have already been accepted.

These apps have already been assigned to your apple ID and are available at your cart"

Next messages shows

"This item is temporary unavailable. Try Later"

I tried this several time and the message is always the same.

Any Idea?

Navigate to your download folder and double click the El Capitan installer.

When I download EC on my two Mac the EC download go the the Applications folder. When fully downloaded it is titled: Install OX X El Capitan

Navigate to your download folder and double click the El Capitan installer.

The installers always download to the Applications folder, not the Downloads folder.
