Pictures opened with preview becomes green?

So I had about 500 pictures from my old Samsung on a flash drive witch I found last night. Since i am so good of losing track of my things i decided to import them to my computer (Macbook Pro retina mid 2014) in order to have everything on the same place. Anyways now to my problem: When I open them with preview i just get an green image. I can see the the pictures in icon view in the folder on witch i imported them to but when i open them with preview i get an green image. I can open them with other third party apps from App store.

Does anyone have a clue why this occurs? And it is only happening with the pictures from the "camera roll" on the Samsung not with the screenshots.

This is a obvious bug in El Capitan.

The only temporary-work-around I have read is open the image in Preview>Tools>Adjust Size don't do anything but select OK.

On Retina Preview>Preferences>images>"Size on screen equals size on printout".

The default setting "1 image pixel equals 1 screen pixel" can not render the image with large pixel dimensions on a small screen.
