Getting out of iTunes U in Yosemite 10.10.5

Ever since i have changed to Yosemite 10.10.5 from Snow Leopard, I can no more clear out of iTunes U other then by typing Command, Alt and Upper Case on the keyboard. The iTunes U site does not have the Red, Yellow and Green dots on the upper left side of the screen as on Snow Leopard.

Is this normal, or is there some new fangled procedure to get out of iTunes U? Who knows? If you do, tell me how and why. Thanks for now.
