Yes I have exactly the same issue - Iphone 6 on 9.0.2

At home the iPhone is struggling to connect to home wifi - I get the buffering icon when I try and open apps like LinkedIn or Facebook. Other devices like my laptop are working fine on home WIFI.

Take a look at this Apple Support article:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204051

    Reset your network settings.

Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings

Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.

    • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
    • Press and hold on the Home button
    • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

My iPhone 6 does the same. It shows it is connected to my home wifi.

It sometimes works but it most time shows "connecting" but at the end, it shows not available.

It does all apps that connects the Internet through wifi.

Is Apple trying resolve this issue at least?

I really do not want reset my phone.

Btw i tried reset my network, but this does not resolve anything....

    This is super annoying,!!

I have to turn off wifi and connect the Internet via LTE..

I tried resetting network settings. Didn't change anything. Then I tried reset all settings and my phone got stuck with the apple icon on the screen and the progress bar - it stayed like that for about three hours. In the end I had to restore my iPhone using ITunes and my laptop- a real pain, and I lost data.

on the plus side - wifi is now working.

I whacked mine on the edge of the table and it started working. Smashed the screen, but the wifi worked.

I have tried was I switched to another router and my iphone 6 is working ok with the wifi.

I think this issue is related with certain routers.

If your wifi does not work on your iphone, try another router if you can.

I had a very old router that I used to use and I am glad at least it works.

I hope Apple will resolve this issue soon..... I do not want to use two routers at one place for only one iphone..

I have an iPhone 5 with 9.0.2. I keep getting kicked off WiFi, or being unable to "find" it at all. This is not a router issue. I have tried several that used to work but now do not. Additionally, my husband's iPhone 6 is able to connect with no problems.

I reset network settings, did hard reboot, etc.

This doesn't help in 9.0.2. Tried every reset. Apple should first test then send us update. This is irritating.
