Adjust MIDI input velocity/volume before recording

I have a keyboard that I use as a MIDI instrument in Garageband, but by default it always comes through very quietly. I used to be able to go to Garageband > Preferences > Audio/MIDI, and there I could change the input note velocity with a slider, but that option isn't available anymore in GB 10.

Is there a different way for me to raise the volume of my MIDI instrument before recording it? Thanks!
