Top Sites shortcut keys not responding

Hello! I was using Command+Option+1 to return to my Top Sites, but now when I press them, nothing happens. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

In El Capitan, using command+option+1 will open the first website link item on your favourite bar.
