In Itunes store, purchased songs don't show 'Play' they have the cost of the song and there is no complete album discounted cost

Make sure that you are logged in with the same account originally used for the purchase.

Yes I am logged in and the purchases can be found under purchased items.
So far it has only happened for One artist, others are fine.

Paul - if it is only one album, iTunes may think that the one it currently has in the Store is not the same as the one you bought. Is there any difference in the album name or contents (remaster, bonus tracks, etc.)?

No I have been through all the albums and all the songs and it doesn't show any of the 7 songs I own from Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Welcome to the Pleasuredome from 1984.
