My ipod is stuck on the apple logo after I tried backing it up bc it was in recovery mode. I was trying to update to ios9. So to save my info, I tried backing it up using a program i found online. Now instead of recovery mode, it's on the apple logo.

My ipod is stuck on the apple logo after I tried backing it up because it was in recovery mode. Before all of this, I was in the process of updating it to ios 9. During this, it became stuck in recovery mode(itunes logo plus charger on the screen). When I hooked it up to the computer it told me I would have to reset my ipod. It's not backed up so that wasn't an option. Therefore I explored ways to back it up online. I found an odd software called "iphone-ipad-recovery," after using this it transitioned to being stuck on the apple logo. "iphone-ipad-recovery" was no longer useful and since it's been in this state, itunes won't for some reason pick the ipod when it's connect into the usb port. please help me get back into my ipod.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
